About Us
BLOOD KNOT Magazine® was founded on the rivers of Colorado, and designed to give fly anglers a fresh, unrestricted avenue to pursue their passion. Its simple guidelines allow the writing to breathe, free from the old formalities often associated with the sport.
The articles are submitted from contributors around the world sharing information and events they’ve found interesting or funny, heartfelt, or even outrageous. Some stories are relevant to large regions, others just small communities—but the stories are always unique and homegrown.
These candid articles, photos and videos are for the enjoyment of other addicts. BLOOD KNOT Magazine® doesn’t publish many instructional articles and rarely anything about “the basics”.
In addition to this website, BLOOD KNOT Magazine® releases a bi-monthly, digital issue. The subscription service is free and an emailed link will arrive in your mail box when new issues are available. They may also be viewed on this website, which is updated regularly with new content in between issues.
